HELLO FROM LANCE AND TEACHER TIM

Hi, everyone! This is Teacher Tim reporting from San Diego, California at the Children's Pastor's Conference. Lance and I had a good airplane ride down here. The weather is sunny and warm, but not too hot. We heard that all of you in the Eagle Point area had a BIG rain and wind storm up there. I'm sure sorry to hear that. I hope you're all warm and dry whereever you are.

Lance is sound asleep at the moment, but he told me to make sure I said "hi" to everyone. We sure miss the class, but I'm sure Teacher Jennifer and Teacher Jenn are doing a great job.

Keep checking for updates and thank you for your comments and questions. Have fun!

A SURPRISE FOR LANCE

"Hey Dyzzee!" said Lance to his friend. "I hear that Teacher Tim is getting ready to go to San Diego for the Children's Pastor's Conference again."
"That's right," replied Dyzzee to his lion buddy. "This will be the sixth time he's gone. As a matter of fact, that's what I want to talk to you about."
"You want to talk to me about Teacher Tim going six times to southern California? Sounds like fun. I know the two of you always have a good time."
Dyzzee laughed a little. "Yes," he said. "We've always had a great time going to classes, hearing great music, and meeting new friends. But I've got a problem...I can't go this year!"
"Oh, no," groaned Lance. "I'm sorry you can't make it. But what is Teacher Tim going to do?"
"Well, I was thinking someone could take my place..." Dyzzee said, gazing up at his friend Lance.
Lance looked puzzled for a moment. But then he noticed Dyzzee's look. His eyes grew wide. "Me?" he gasped. "You want me to go?"
Dyzzee nodded.
Lance jumped into the air and let out the biggest roar of his life! And if you know Lance, he doesn't make a lot of noise.
So Lance the Lion began making plans to go with Teacher Tim to the Children's Pastor's Conference in San Diego. The fun begins next week on Monday, March 14. We hope you can drop by this blog and check out some of Lance's adventures. Ask your parents for help in leaving a note too (and if your parents want to follow a grown up site, have them go to www.thoughtsbytimotheous.blogspot.com).
See you later, alligators!

Pictures of friends

Hello everyone!

The last time Dyzzee and I wrote, we promised pictures of some of the friends we've met in San Diego. We wished we had been able to get pictures of everyone, but here's a few.

There were singers:

The Lads

The Go Fish Guys. If you are in Teacher Tim's class as preschool, these are the guys that sing "The Ten Commandment Boogie." By the way, if you click here, you can see the video for the "Ten Commandment Boogie."

Jill is a new friend that Teacher Tim met at a class he attended on singing songs to Jesus.

There were heroes:

Did you ever wonder what Bibleman looks like without his costume? This is Robert T, the actor who plays Bibleman on the new videos.

And there were teachers:

Michael created and wrote Truthopolis, the program we use at the church on Monday nights.

My friend Karl, the Kidologist. He loves Jesus and he loves children.

If I get anymore pictures of my friends, I'll make sure they get on our website. Dyzzee sure misses all of you. Don't worry....in a few days we'll be home and Dyzzee will take a long nap.
