Hi, boys and girls! Lance and I are leaving tomorrow to come back home to Oregon. We sure missed everyone. We had a wonderful time in San Diego. Our friends who put on the Children's Pastors' Conference made a video. No, Lance and I are not in it, but you'll get to see some of the fun stuff we did down here. Make sure your parents help you. See you next week!
If there is a problem with the video, have your parents visit this link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k7bz4oFOJfI

LANCE MAKES A NEW FRIEND
While I was busy attending different classes, Lance decided to wander around the Children’s Pastors’ Conference in San Diego.
He came across these cool benches. He wanted to try them out. Yup, they held him up just fine.
Then he wandered into the lunch area and there he saw Jana Alayra performing. You may not remember her name, but you’ve probably sung her songs, like “Jump, Jump, Jump into the Light, Light, Light.” She was singing that!
But the best part of the day was when Lance made a new friend. Her name was Cathy, a wonderful lady and a great grandmother who loves Jesus. She and Lance had a nice little visit together before Lance had to go. It's good to make a new friend, isn't it?
Lance and I are having a good time here in San Diego. We’re kind of sad that the conference is almost over, but we’re really HAPPY that we’ll be home soon to see all of you again.
Later, ‘taters!

LANCE FITS RIGHT IN
Tuesday, March 15, 2011
Today, Lance and I got to visit some churches with really cool children's rooms. We rode on a double decker bus, got to see some of Lance's friends, and Lance even got to play a game of air hockey! We had a lot of fun...make sure you check out the pictures.
This evening, we went to a concert and do you know who the first performers were? The Go Fish Guys!!! I tried to take a picture, but the room was so dark and the lights were so bright that the picture just looks like a strange glowing blob.
Lance says good night...he's one tired lion. Good night everyone :-)

HELLO FROM LANCE AND TEACHER TIM
Hi, everyone! This is Teacher Tim reporting from San Diego, California at the Children's Pastor's Conference. Lance and I had a good airplane ride down here. The weather is sunny and warm, but not too hot. We heard that all of you in the Eagle Point area had a BIG rain and wind storm up there. I'm sure sorry to hear that. I hope you're all warm and dry whereever you are.
Lance is sound asleep at the moment, but he told me to make sure I said "hi" to everyone. We sure miss the class, but I'm sure Teacher Jennifer and Teacher Jenn are doing a great job.
Keep checking for updates and thank you for your comments and questions. Have fun!

A SURPRISE FOR LANCE
"Hey Dyzzee!" said Lance to his friend. "I hear that Teacher Tim is getting ready to go to San Diego for the Children's Pastor's Conference again."
"That's right," replied Dyzzee to his lion buddy. "This will be the sixth time he's gone. As a matter of fact, that's what I want to talk to you about."
"You want to talk to me about Teacher Tim going six times to southern California? Sounds like fun. I know the two of you always have a good time."
Dyzzee laughed a little. "Yes," he said. "We've always had a great time going to classes, hearing great music, and meeting new friends. But I've got a problem...I can't go this year!"
"Oh, no," groaned Lance. "I'm sorry you can't make it. But what is Teacher Tim going to do?"
"Well, I was thinking someone could take my place..." Dyzzee said, gazing up at his friend Lance.
Lance looked puzzled for a moment. But then he noticed Dyzzee's look. His eyes grew wide. "Me?" he gasped. "You want me to go?"
Dyzzee nodded.
Lance jumped into the air and let out the biggest roar of his life! And if you know Lance, he doesn't make a lot of noise.
So Lance the Lion began making plans to go with Teacher Tim to the Children's Pastor's Conference in San Diego. The fun begins next week on Monday, March 14. We hope you can drop by this blog and check out some of Lance's adventures. Ask your parents for help in leaving a note too (and if your parents want to follow a grown up site, have them go to www.thoughtsbytimotheous.blogspot.com).
See you later, alligators!
