FRIENDS FOR TEACHER TIM

Hi, everyone...this is Teacher Tim, with Dyzzee the Dinosaur puppet. Wow, I can't believe our trip is almost over. Tomorrow (Thursday) is our last day of the conferences, then we fly home on Friday. I should be back at the daycare on Monday morning (yippeee...I can hardly wait!).

Some of you may be wondering what this big meeting is all about. Well, it's sort of like a school, but more fun. I go to special classes starting before the time preschool begins. Then a couple of times, everyone gets together for lunch or dinner and we sing and laugh and hear more about Jesus. There's a lot of people here (over a thousand!)...and one whacky dinosaur.

I met a lot of nice people who love Jesus and like helping kids. You probably know a couple of them.

Teacher Tim and Bibleman!

Teacher Tim and Miss Patty Cake.

When I got back to my room, it looked like Dyzzee was worried. He had climbed up on top of a free toy I got and was looking down at my big pile of toys and books and cd's and other stuff that I got at my meetings. I almost thought he was going to fall.
I asked him why he was up there. He said that he was afraid that I was going to have so much stuff, I wouldn't have room to put him in my suitcase! I guess even puppet dinosaurs get worried or scared sometimes, and they don't always know how to tell a grownup how they feel. What would you say to Dyzzee?

Don't worry...I'll have plenty of room to pack all the neat stuff I got, plus Dyzzee! I've had to hide the cookies from him, but I bet he will find them in the bag when I pack him for the trip home.

Bye for now, boys and girls!

DYZZEE TRIES TO MAKE FRIENDS

Hi, everyone...Teacher Tim here! I'm so glad so many of you are checking in on our adventures. Some of you have even left comments. Thank you so much...I miss all of you and Dyzzee and I can't wait to get back.

Dyzzee likes to make new friends. He went outside our room at the hotel and found a boy and girl standing in a pool of water! He couldn't figure out if they were wading in a tiny pool or getting into trouble. So he decided to say hello. But for some reason, they just stood there...not saying a word. Dyzzee tried telling a joke to make them laugh. But they didn't say anything. They didn't even move when Dyzzee did a little backflip. Dyzzee couldn't figure out why his new friends weren't saying anything. After you look at the picture, can you guess why? One of the rules at the conference is that you have to wear your name badge all the time. Since Dyzzee did not have a name badge, I had to leave him in the room most of today. When I got back, I was putting my stuff away when I turned around and....

That silly dinosaur was trying on my badge. I think he got a little tangled up!

If your moms and dads want to see more pictures of my trip, they can visit my other site here.
See ya later, taters!

WE ARE IN SAN DIEGO!

Hi, boys and girls, Teacher Tim here. I wanted everyone to know that Dyzzee and I arrived in San Diego just fine today. We left on an airplane this morning, stopped about half way and got on another airplane, and then flew the rest of the way to San Diego, California.

Dyzzee stayed in my bag the whole time. He said he wanted to protect my stuff, but I think he just wanted to munch some of the Girls Scout cookies I got from Teacher Lynette! What do you think?

The place where we are staying is really nice. I like coming down here each year to learn more about learning about Jesus and having tons of fun with kids. Your moms and dads might like to see the website about the hotel right here.

Well, Dyzzee is pretty tired from his long trip. I'll make sure to write more as our adventures continue. Remember to ask your parents to help send me comments to let me know you're reading and enjoying the site. Bye for now!

Good night!
